In the first quarter of 2023, the top five consumer finance applications on the Android platform in the Middle East showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a comprehensive view of these trends.

alrajhi bank saw a notable increase in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at approximately 49K in late December and peaking at around 56K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, with numbers hovering between 1M and 1.1M throughout the quarter.

SNB Mobile had a consistent download rate, starting the quarter at about 43K and ending with roughly 38K. Weekly active users also showed a stable trend, beginning at around 202K and finishing the quarter close to 205K.

ENBD X experienced a steady decline in downloads, beginning at about 28K in late December and dropping to around 12K by the end of March. However, weekly active users grew significantly, from approximately 53K to 110K over the same period.

ADCB demonstrated a consistent download pattern, starting at approximately 7.6K and peaking at around 10.5K mid-quarter before stabilizing at about 8.6K. Active users showed slight growth, from around 111K to 122K.

Alinma Bank maintained a stable download rate, starting at about 9.6K and ending the quarter at approximately 9.8K. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 210K and 224K throughout the quarter.
